Here is a piece that is my personal favorite:  “Midnight in the Garden Of Good & Evil” ( yes, based on the movie of course – Kevin Spacey is divine!)  This piece was created in a collaboration with my friend and artist, Jeremy Furnish, who is into metal sculpture and recycling what you have!

Our process centered on ME finding some cool rusty pieces in his scrap yard and dragging them home to paint in whatever way I wanted and then present whatever I came up with to HIM to “finish” however he wanted.  Without each other’s say or input – whooo, scary!  But great for being creative.

Actually it ended up being a really great idea and between the two of us we sold 4 pieces of the 9 we did!

Up close of the tasty colors and the gloss!

Jeremy hand-forged the vines and the curliques which is an exciting process to witness.

The lack of decent camera skills on my part mean that what I have is a poor rendition of the final work but it was “so sweeeeet” in person!

This piece was part of the Columbia Gallery’s Art & Metal Show in St. Helens, Oregon in 2009.
